Harry F. Cresswell passed away January 1, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Born January 11, 1935, son of Charles & Martha Cresswell. He married the love of his life Barbara (LaGasse) on September 18, 1954. Together they shared 61 wonderful years. He cherished his family above everything else, and they were all with him on his last day as he made his final journey. He leaves behind his wife Barbara, son Frank (Kim) Cresswell, Brenda(Mark) Gray, Charles (Donna) Cresswell and daughter-in-law Billie Jo Cresswell. He also leaves nine grandchildren Miranda (Jim) Steates, Alicia (Kevin) Surace, Ben (Michelle) Boehlert, Doug (Michelle) Anderson, Kimberly Anderson, Summer, Storm & Sequoia Cresswell and Diane Cresswell; nine great grandchildren Madison & Matthew Steates, Madeline Surace, Angela & Cameran Lince, Bethany Boehlert, Nikki Cesare and Francis & Mason Graham. He also leaves behind many family members and friends. He was predeceased by his beloved grandsons Jason Cresswell and Harry Cresswell. He loved and cared for trees his whole life, first with Davey Tree and then on to his own company Clinton Gardens. He was a mentor to numerous tree men. He will be greatly missed. He was a very strong man. We can't imagine him without a smile. Happy Trails Dad. The family would like to thank his nurses Kathy, Melissa and Dan and Dr. Johnson for their devoted care. They were exceptional. There will be no calling hours, services are private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers consider donations to the Jason R. Cresswell Memorial Scholarship Fund at Clinton Central School, or your favorite charity.
