Obituary of Regina J. Bohling

Regina J. (Jean) Bohling, 75, of Clinton died Thursday October 23, 2008 at Faxton-St. Lukes Healthcare. She was born in Utica, December 31, 1932 the daughter of James and Edith Shields. She received her education in New Hartford Schools. In Canastota in 1951 she was united in marriage to Harold R. Bohling. The couple had resided in Clinton for over thirty years. Mr. Bohling died in 2001. For many years she was employed by the Town of Kirkland Library and was a member of St. Marys Church, Clinton. Surviving are her Mother, Edith Shields of Oneida, daughter and son-in-law Julie and Ed Hwaszcz of Lairdsville, a son and daughter-in-law Edward and Lisa Bohling of Sauquoit, five adored grandchildren Justin, Timothy, Marilyn, Megan, and Leslie, a brother John Shields of Lake Placid, a sister Barbara DeBalso of Oneida, a brother-in-law a sister-in-law Jerome and Joan Bohling of New Hartford and her special canine friend, Marley. Funeral services will be held Monday October 27, 2008 at 9:30 AM from Owens-Pavlot Funeral Service, Inc. 35 College St., Clinton and 10:00 AM from St. Marys Church, Clinton. Friends are invited and may call Sunday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Josephs Cemetery, Oriskany Falls. Those so desiring please consider donations to Kirkland Town Library, 55 College St., Clinton, NY 13323.
