Obituary of Kenneth C. Miller

Kenneth C. Boomer Miller Jr. III, 41, of Fountain St., died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 9, 2008. He was born in New Hartford on July 8, 1967, the son of Kenneth C. and Eva Miner Miller Jr. Boomer grew up in Cold Brook and graduated from Poland Central School. As a youth he had attended the Methodist church in Cold Brook. On October 11, 2003, he was married to the love of his life, Jodie Schroer at Hamilton College Chapel. Boomer was the proud owner and operator of Miller Landscaping and Contracting. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and son. He enjoyed Clinton Hockey and had a special love for Poland soccer where he loved to watch his son play. He is survived by his wife, Jodie Miller of Clinton; his son Kenny of Poland; his two daughters, Hannah and Mackenzie at home; his parents Kenneth and Eva Miller of Cold Brook; his sister and brother-in-law, Kimberly and Chris Hayes of Poland; a stepsister Nanette Miller-Dygert of Middleville; his nephew and nieces, Christopher, Priscilla and Alexandra Hayes; his in-laws, Mary Jane and Clinton Bassett of Clinton, Clint, Lindsay, Brittany and Ryan Bassett; his father-in-law, Paul and Deb Schroer and Jill and Amy Schroer; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends. Funeral services will be held at 9:30am on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at St. Marys Church, Marvin St., Clinton. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery. Friends are invited to call Monday from 4-7pm at Owens-Pavlot Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. Please consider donations to an education fund for his children, in care of Jodie Miller, 3731 Fountain St., Clinton, NY 13323.
