Obituary of Suzanne B. Miller

Suzanne B. Miller, of Oriskany, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 18, 2008 with her children at her side. She was born on September 4, 1928 to Howard R. Bender and Suzanne Alice Loget in Whitesboro, New York. She attended local schools and graduated from Oriskany High School in 1946. On July 10, 1948, she entered in marriage with John Miller who died on January 13, 1968. Suzanne was employed by the New York State DDSO, serving many years as a social worker, retiring in 1988. She leaves her children, Brian Miller and Holly Covey of Greenwood, Delaware, Lynn and Tony Milograno of Yorkville, New York, Gary Miller and Lauren Allen of Felton, Delaware, Mark Miller and Georgie Brenning of Rome, New York, and Lori and Craig Gillispie of Hagaman, New York. She also leaves her grandchildren Christy and Michael Colangelo, Brett and Alaina Meus, Amanda and Steven Krupski, Jeremey, Joshua, Jordan, Marissa and Michaela Gillispie and Brittany and Brandy Miller. She also leaves three great grandchildren, Haley, Emily and Matthew. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Donald Hayes of Oriskany and several nieces and nephews. Suzanne also leaves special ladies, Karen Wahl, Jennie Bartoszek, and Colleen Rousell Special thanks to the nurses and staff of the Cedar Unit at the Presbyterian Nursing Home for their compassionate care of our mother. Funeral services will be held Monday September 22, 2008 at 10:00 AM from Owens-Pavlot Funeral Service, Inc. 35 College St., Clinton. Friends are invited and may call Sunday from 3-6 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Whitesboro, New York. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your favorite charity in memory of Suzanne.
